About Us

Maureen Morris comes from a family with an involvement in textiles, and became fascinated by them herself at an early age. She has been dealing in antique samplers, antique needlework, and allied textiles for nearly thirty years. During that time she has had in her stock some of the most interesting and rare examples of antique samplers to come on the market, and she has written, and lectured on the subject. Another aspect of her business is helping clients who want to start or edit collections, and also she can advise on conservation and the care of textiles.

Over the years Maureen Morris has exhibited at many UK antiques fairs including Chelsea Antiques Fair, The BADA Antiques and Fine Art Fair, and the Olympia Antiques and Fine Art Fairs. In addition, her expertise has been sought as a vetter at all of these events. She participated in two exhibitions in New York alongside Cora Ginsburg , M. Finkel and Daughter and Alistair Sampson, and has had joint exhibitions in London with Robert Hirschhorn.

She has been a member of the Olympia Fine Art and Antiques Fairs Advisory Board and the board of LAPADA (The Association of Art and Antiques Dealers).
